Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Increasing clouds and SW winds as the next winter storm approaches our area.  Snow surface conditions vary from a mix of crusts to unconsolidated snow on protected N aspects.  Not much softening of the snow surface on southerly aspects due to the cloud cover and winds.  The existing snowpack is in good shape to handle the additional load of another storm.  Snowpack tests showed a uniform and consolidated snowpack.
