- Loose wet - Reported avalanches (1 natural, 0 human triggered)
- Density change with heavier wet snow on top of dry colder snow.
- Below 8000', snowpack is made up of wet grains from heavy rain on snow.
- Above 8000', snowpack has rain crust near surface with dry snow down to ground.
- First series of storms for the winter this week: 11/21-11/23
- 1 to 2' of snow along the Sierra Crest above 8000' with up to 1' in the Mt. Rose area.
- Rain up to at least 9000' along the Sierra Crest
- Strong to gale force SW winds
