- Persistent Slab - Reported avalanches ( 3 human triggered, 2 natural)
- Loose wet - Reported avalanches ( 1 human triggered, 3 natural)
- Weak snow below old snow surface crust causing persistent slab avalanches 1-3' deep
- Warm and wet snowpack towards the end of the week at low to mid elevations.
- Transitioning to melt freeze conditions.
- April 5-6 storm cycle deposited 20-30'' along the Sierra Crest
