Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Evidence of instability in this area today was limited to snowpit data. Despite ski tracks in the area and on the slope where the snowpit was dug, the Dec 7 faceted weak layer continues to show that it has the ability to propagate underneath the overlying slab once triggered. Even though some stability gains appear to have occurred in this area, a human triggered avalanche remains possible if the right on slope trigger point is found.
