Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Intermittent sun with thin high clouds allowed for good corn snow conditions on SE-S aspects by 12 noon.  Moderate SW winds and cloud cover slowed the warming process slightly, mainly in wind exposed areas.

Photo#1:  Sun cups forming at lower elevations on south aspects.

Photo#2:  ECTN-24 down 20cm on a graupel layer from early in the last storm system.  Graupel layer is still perserved but did not show any indication that propagation would be possible.  No other results were seen and the snowpack is made up of dense firm snow.  The snowpack is in good shape to handle additional load from future storms.
