Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

No evidence of snowpack instability observed in this area today. Old basal facets displayed evidence of strength gains with rounding, sintering, and a weak snowpack temperature gradient at 9,260'. Wind pillows along the summit ridge displayed no indications of unstable wind slabs. Snow surface observations indicated that rain fell in this area last night up to about 8,200'.
